Two Types of Dancing, in the Street
We first see folks outside of--a dance hall? a bar?--doing eight hand sets--"square dancing",.after they all kinda do a VA Reel, they Right and Left Grand and swing your partner...
The couple looks to be doing a precursor to Lindy Hop...recorded in or before 1914, and in what looks to be 3/4 time (Waltz time). Maybe a Texas Tommy?
This relatively unmediated footage is rare and fabulous!

Dancing in the street 1914
Nice dancing, nice footage. And yes, like Spuzz has mentioned, they appear to stop abruptly near the end, but maybe it's as simple as the person who is shooting them saying, "thanks, all done!" and then they return to what ever they were doing before the camera started rolling. ;-)

Callin' Out Around The World
Back in the olden days, when people had nothing to do, they danced in the street! Well, ok, maybe I'm simplifying things A LOT, but this does have some joy to it. Looks like a group of 8 people took a break from whatever they were doing (more on that a little later) to demonstrate a simple dance routine. After that, 2 of them demonstrate a bit of a more complicated routine, but still quite basic. The crowd enjoys this until SOMETHING in the background tells them that's it's time to go back in again and they all bail to go back inside. I'm sort of dying to know what that was...

I always find clips like these to be interesting, for example, for seeing people in the clothes of their era.
